स्वयंप्रभा: धर्म पत्थर से नहीं बुझेगा। अपनी आँखें बंद करो, हे वायु और वन के पुत्रों। तब तक न देखना जब तक हवा अपनी गंध न बदल ले।

(20 सेकंड का दृश्य क्रम: वानर अपनी आँखें ढंकते हैं। एक धीमी गूंज जमीन को हिला देती है। सुनहरी रोशनी स्क्रीन को भर देती है। गुफा की आवाज गायब हो जाती है, उसकी जगह समुद्र की गर्जना ले लेती है।)

दृश्य 4: विश्व का कोना - बाहरी - गोधूलि

(15 सेकंड का मौन। हनुमान अपने हाथ नीचे करते हैं। कैमरा उनके चेहरे से क्षितिज की ओर पैन करता है। विशाल समुद्र अनंत तक फैला है।)

हनुमान: समुद्र... वह हमें बिल्कुल किनारे पर ले आई है।

(वानर सदमे में चारों ओर देखते हैं। उनके पीछे गुफा का प्रवेश द्वार पहाड़ में एक छोटी, अंधेरी दरार के अलावा कुछ नहीं है। स्वयंप्रभा जा चुकी हैं।)
