राम: लक्ष्मण, जानकी को पर्वतीय गुफा की सुरक्षा में ले जाओ। तर्क मत करो, संकोच मत करो। यह युद्ध मुझे ही समाप्त करना है।
सीता (कांपती आवाज): मेरे स्वामी, आपको ऐसी लहर के खिलाफ अकेला छोड़ना...

राम अपने सुनहरे कवच की ओर हाथ बढ़ाते हैं।
30 सेकंड का मोंटाज: राम अपने सीने पर सुनहरी प्लेटें बांध रहे हैं, धातु की आवाज शांत जंगल में गूंज रही है।
वह कोदंड धनुष उठाते हैं। प्रत्यंचा खींचे जाने की आवाज बिजली की कड़क जैसी है।
राम (स्वयं से): अंधकार को आने दो। उसे केवल सूर्य का प्रकाश ही प्रतीक्षा करता हुआ मिलेगा।
कैमरा बादलों की ओर जाता है जहाँ देवता सुनहरी चमक में दिखाई देते हैं।

दृश्य 4: आगमन

क्षितिज पर धूल की एक विशाल दीवार दिखाई देती है।
14,000 राक्षसों के मार्च करने की आवाज एक बहरा कर देने वाली गर्जना बन जाती है।
राम अपनी जगह पर डटे रहते हैं, उनके पैर मिट्टी में धंस जाते हैं।
वह एक तीर चढ़ाते हैं। तीर की नोक नीली लौ के साथ चमकती है।
10 सेकंड की पूर्ण शांति जब कैमरा राम की आँख में ज़ूम करता है।
उनकी पुतली में पहली राक्षस पंक्ति का प्रतिबिंब दिखाई देता है।
अंधेरा छा जाता है क्योंकि राक्षसों की पहली युद्ध गर्जना गूंजती है।
